EXACT-6G Research Recognized with Best Paper Award at IEEE GLOBECOM 2025
The IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM 2025) was held last week in Taipei, Taiwan, under the theme “Sustainable Communications for Ubiquitous Intelligence.” The event brought together leading researchers and industry experts to discuss advances shaping the future of 5G and 6G networks.
During the conference, Mohamed Readh Fentazi, representing EXACT-6G (DC06), presented the paper entitled “AIEuroLens: Explainable AI Framework for Drift Detection applied to 5G Time-Series Data.” The research addresses a critical challenge in machine learning for next-generation networks: preserving forecasting accuracy in the presence of concept drift, where data patterns evolve over time. The proposed AIEuroLens framework not only detects performance degradation but also provides explainability by identifying its underlying causes, enabling more reliable and adaptive network management.
The paper was honored with the Best Paper Award at the Communication QoS, Reliability and Modeling (CQRM) Symposium, recognizing its scientific contribution and practical impact.
This work was conducted within the framework of the EXACT-6G and FLECON-6G projects and reflects their strong commitment to advancing explainable AI and data-driven intelligence for sustainable, reliable 5G and beyond communication systems.
We congratulate Mohamed Readh Fentazi and all contributing partners on this outstanding achievement.
