EXACT-6G MSCA Doctoral Network – Successful Completion of Schools 4 & 5

Last week, our Doctoral Candidates (DCs) took part in the EXACT-6G training program’s Schools 4 & 5, marking another key milestone in their research journey.

School 4 – “AI/ML and their explain ability” explored cutting-edge advances in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for 6G resource management, with a focus on Symbolic & Neuro-Symbolic AI as well as Generative Models at the Edge.
School 5 – “Technological solutions to orchestrate and manage cloud/edge” provided hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native deployment, and edge deployment using the EUR facility orchestrator.

Both sessions were organized and hosted by EURECOM, the training leader of EXACT-6G, and offered an inspiring and enriching experience for all participants.

Over five intensive days (8–12 September), the DCs had the chance to:
Learn in an excellent academic and collaborative environment.
Gain deeper insights while discovering new research avenues.
Connect theory with practice through practical lab sessions.
Enhance adaptability and teamwork in an international context.

This experience not only broadened perspectives but also reinforced the foundation for future research in the 6G domain.
