Abdelrahman Elkhateeb Presents Innovative 6G Research at ICT 2026 in Greece
We are proud to announce that Abdelrahman Elkhateeb (DC03, Greenerwave / ESPCI Paris – PSL) successfully presented his research paper at the 32nd International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT 2026), held in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The paper, titled “On the Performance of Uplink Channel Estimation in the Presence of Uncoordinated RIS Interference”, addresses one of the key challenges facing future 6G wireless deployments: cross-network interference caused by uncoordinated Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS).
In this work, Abdelrahman introduces a novel receive beamforming framework designed to mitigate channel estimation bias, leading to significant improvements in data detection performance and enhanced coexistence between multiple wireless networks. The research contributes to the development of more robust and efficient next-generation communication infrastructures.
This achievement was made possible under the supervision and guidance of Youssef Nasser and Julien de Rosny.
The research is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Programme through the EXACT-6G project (Grant No. 101120297), supporting innovative solutions for future multi-operator wireless systems and resilient 6G technologies.
We warmly congratulate Abdelrahman on this excellent contribution to the field of next-generation wireless communications and wish him continued success in his research journey.
